Alexa Newkirk won the girls varsity race to highlight the Eagles results at Fatima on Saturday. Individual results include:

1st Alexa Newkirk 20:18 (2nd place was 21:27); 6th Cassey Poole 22:17; 38th Karsen Mauney 29:24; 41st Ryli Jetton 30:53

Boys Varsity

4th as team – 11th Tyler Reinkemeyer 19:00; 17th Isaac Smith 19:26; 19th Josh Sampsell 19:31; 41st Blake Schmidt 20:46; 45th Tyler Munoz 21:05

The Eagles will run at the district meet in Salisbury on Saturday. SoBoCo coach Crystal Branch said that Helias and Moberly will be among the top teams to contend with.

“We have a very tough district, but we know this course pretty well – we will see what happens,” Branch said.
