The SoBoCo Eagles volleyball team may have been thinking more about Senior Night than volleyball.

But after losing the first game 22-25, the Eagles won two straight, blitzing the Indians 25-15 and 25-14 to win a Tri-County Conference match.

After handing the Indians several points in the first game loss, the Eagles relied on senior Emma Straub for a pair of kills as well as a kill from Hailey Hanna and defensive play of Sydney Mattas in breaking out to a 10-5 lead.

Later in the game, Kayla Sage served for a pair of points – including an ace – and senior Carsyn Morris teamed with Ginny Lewis for a pair of blocks at the net.

Anna Poole then served the final six points of the game, pulling the match to even at one game each.

In the third game, Mattas and Straub continued to do damage, with Mattas scoring an ace to pull the Eagles ahead 10-5. Morris and Lewis continued to block at the net, and Sayde Taggart fired a kill shot to the opposite far corner to give the Eagles a 18-11 lead.
