The Eagles freshman football team got a thrilling 12-8 football win over Helias on Monday evening.

Eagles quarterback Tanner Goodrich escapes three Helias defenders as he fights for yardage in Monday’s victory.

SoBoCo trailed 8-6 in the fourth quarter and were without the services of starting quarterback Chase Schuup, who was injured earlier in the second half.

After Tanner Goodrich came in as backup – and moved the Eagles downfield, but could not score – SoBoCo’s Reygan Whitt came in as quarterback. Whitt had not practiced the QB position with the Eagles, but threw a 92-yard TD pass-catch-run to David Heyen with under three minutes left in the game.
