Six Southern Boone football players recently earned state and regional honors.
Senior running back Tristen John and senior offensive lineman Tyler Frese were named to the Missouri Football Coaches Association Class 3 all-state second team offense.
John and Frese were also named to the Columbia Tribune’s All-Boone County football team along with teammates Blake Dapkus, Reygan Whitt, Tyson Smith and Ben Brookshire.
