The SoBoCo Eagles baseball team had three players named to the first team Tri-County Conference All-Conference squad recently – including the conference’s Most Valuable Player Alex Anderson.

The Eagles won the Tri-County with a perfect 7-0 record. Anderson led the team in pitching as well as being at the top of many offensive categories.

Anderson is a career .387 hitter and his career ERA on the mound was a solid 2.13. In addition to All Conference and All District honors last season, Anderson was named to the Academic All-State team.

SoBoCo also had coach Tony Phillips named as Coach of the Year, capping off a season of honors for the Eagles – which will also be Phillips’ last year as head baseball coach.
