Police Report

Ashland Police and Boone County Sheriff’s office reported the following arrests recently.

Tuesday, August 1st:

• Columbia Police added the additional charge of endangering the welfare of a child(ren) to Cindy Lou Thorp, 56, of Hartsburg. arrest record from earlier reports on August 1. According to Columbia Police reports, Thorp is accused of striking her grandchild with a wooden ball bat. She was originally arrested for domestic assault and armed criminal action.

Sunday, August 6th:

• Heather Ashley Anne Rybolt, 28, of Hartsburg, was arrested by Columbia Police on charges of possession of a controlled substance, misdemeanor stealing and unlawful possession paraphernalia. Bail $5,500.
