Clayton James Crump, 17, of Boonville, passed away on from osteocarcoma on Friday, March 23, 2018 at his mother’s home in Grain Valley.

Visitation was held from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm on Tuesday, March 27, 2018 at William Wood Funeral Home. Funeral services were at 11:00 am on Wednesday, March 28, 2018 at William Wood Funeral Home. Burial took place in Boonesboro Cemetery.

Clayton was born on July 12, 2000, in Oak Grove, Missouri, the son of Robert Crump and Tera (Renick) Downs. He was a senior at Boonville High School. Clayton enjoyed being the life of the party; he was always the first and last to laugh but never wanted to be the center of attention. He liked to play video games and go to the skate park and skateboard with his brother Lawson. He also loved his dog Brax.

He is survived by: his parents, siblings: Lawson Crump of Glasgow, Hailey and Emma Downs of Grain Valley; David Estep of Fort Worth, Texas, William and Hailey Coburn of Columbia; his maternal grandfather, Terry Renick of Odessa; his paternal grandmother, Elaine Crump of Boonville; his great-grandmother, Neville Crump of Ashland; and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandmother, Anita Martin, and his paternal grandfather, Robert J. Crump.
