Alpha Frances Hackman, age 101, passed away December 24, 2017 at Mayfair Manor in Lexington, Kentucky. She was born in Hartsburg, Missouri in 1916, the daughter of now deceased Mamie and Guy Rippeto.

She was preceded in death by her two sisters, Emma Isabelle Schuermann and Norma Faye Blount. She was also preceded in death by her loving husband Benjamin Martin Hackman in 1980. Ben was the sales manager with Central Dairy in Jefferson City up until his retirement.

Mrs. Hackman is survived by two sons, Guy Richard (Louise) of Lexington, Kentucky and Edward Ben (Charlotte) of Wilmington, North Carolina. She has three grandchildren, Jennifer Jacobs (Mike) of Lexington, Kentucky, Guy Richard Jr., (Lucy) of Darien, Connecticut and Michael Colin (Michelle) of Wilmington, North Carolina. She will also be missed by five great grandchildren.

Frances grew up in Hartsburg and lived most of her life in Columbia and Jefferson City before moving to Lexington to be near more family. She was a life-long member of Goshen and Woodcrest Primitive Baptist Church.

Funeral services will be held 1 pm Fri., Dec. 29 at Robinson Funeral Home, 601 N. Henry Clay Blvd., Ashland, Missouri 65010 with interment immediately following in The Woodcrest Cemetery in Ashland, Missouri. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Goshen Primitive Baptist Church, 500 Cedar Tree Lane, Hartsburg, Missouri 65039, in memory of Frances.
