A six foot squirrel with a great big bushy tail created a bit of a stir on the corner of Main and Broadway last Saturday as The Callaway Bank launched their kid’s savings program.

C.B. Squirrel is the mascot of The Callaway Kids Bank, a program designed to teach kids to save money and have fun doing it! Kids can open a savings account with as little as $5.00 to get them started.

“We designed and kicked off The Callaway Kids Bank in 1993 in an effort to work with parents to teach their kids good savings habits while they are young,” says Debbie LaRue, VP and director of the program.
