New McDonald’s Grand Opening

McDonald’s owner Mark Mehle thanked the Southern Boone Chamber of Commerce for hosting a ribbon cutting at the new McDonald’s facility last Tuesday.

The Mehles presented a $500 donation to the Southern Boone YMCA and Executive Director Kip Batye.

Mehle also voiced his appreciation for the Southern Boone community and praised his employees. “You should be proud of the folks we have working here in Ashland,” Mehle told chamber members, “they have worked long, hard hours and are dedicated to providing this community quality food and service.”

The new McDonald’s opened on July 28.
