Middle School lockdown

The lockdown on Friday was a Boone County Sheriff’s Department operation where Ashland assisted. Ashland Chief of Police, Lyn Woolford reports that Ashland Police assisted Boone County Sheriff’s deputies with checking the welfare of a person who was in a vehicle located in the school parking lot across from the middle school. No one was injured or arrested. No school staff or students were involved and the lockdown was precautionary only.
