Guitar Lessons at SoBoCo MS

Friday was the first test day at SoBoCo Middle School’s Music Inspirations class.  

Guitar and keyboard players nervously showed teacher Justin Nabors what they have learned and practiced.

Music Inspirations is now in its fifth year at the Middle School and is a unique class which takes the place of a general music class.

Nabors explained that Middle School students can sing in the choir or play in the band or opt for the Music Inspirations class which acts somewhat like an independent study class.

“A lot of students want to learn to play the guitar,” Nabors said, “and this class starts them at whatever level of knowledge they have.”
