September 21, 2017 will mark the 185th anniversary of Goshen Primitive Baptist Church, in Wilton, Missouri. Everyone is invited to join the anniversary service on Sunday, September 17. Bible Study begins at 9:30, and worship service is at 10:30. A carry-in lunch will follow the services.
Twelve people met on August 9, 1832, for the purpose of constituting a church close to their homes. The church was constituted September 21, 1832. Many members attending Goshen Church today are descendants of the original members. The church rolls have 34 fifty-year members, with the oldest being Esther Lewis, who has been a member for 81 years.
