Southern Boone Girl Scouts will host a “Hygiene Drive” this weekend at Moser’s Grocery.

The drive will be Saturday, Nov. 12 and Sunday, Nov. 13 from 10 a.m. until 4 p.m. each day.

The drive will benefit Southern Boone County School nurse – who serve children in need; the Columbia Adoption Project; the Central Missouri Foster Care and Adoption Association; Welcome Home, Inc. which serve local veterans.

The requested donations in the Hygiene Drive will include: Toothbrushes, toothpaste, dental floss and mouthwash; Body wash, soap, shampoo, brush, comb, and hair accessories; Men’s/women’s deodorant, razors, chapstick/lip balm, feminine products; Band-aids, hand sanitizer, baby wipoes, first aid supplies; Cleaning supplies.

Organizers say that cash donations will also be accepted.
