A complete Thanksgiving Dinner to generate donations for a good cause is becoming a tradition at the Skyline Cafe.

Again this Thanksgiving, Skyline Cafe owner Brenda Ravenscraft and her crew will provide turkey day customers with a complete, traditional turkey dinner and ask only a payment in the form of a monetary donation to Welcome Home, a community for veterans.

“The meal is free,” Ravenscraft said, “we want the money to go to this great cause which provides for our military veterans.”

Skyline Cafe, 105 E. Broadway, in Ashland, will serve its turkey dinner on Thursday, Nov. 22 from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m. or they’re out of turkey.

The menu will include a traditional turkey dinner including turkey and dressing, vegetables, mashed potatoes and gravy and, of course, homemade pumpkin pie.

“It’s all for the veterans who need some help,” Ravenscraft said of the fund raiser.
