Flu Shots Available

The Boone County Public Health Department is now offering flu shots for anyone six months or older. No appointment is needed to receive an injectable flu shot at the county health clinic at 1005 W. Worley in Columbia. The clinic is open Monday-Friday, 8 a.m.-4:30 p.m.

Cost of the flu shot for adults age 19 and older is dependent on health insurance coverage. The cost of the vaccine is $25 and the clinic accepts various forms of payment and can bill many insurance plans. A high-dose flub shot is available specifically for persons age 65 and older.
