The Baptist Home held a Dedication Service at New Salem Baptist Church on Friday, April 20.
After the service, Administrator Steve Long led two ribbon cuttings – the first in front of the church with all of those who attended the service and the second just north of the church, in front of the large construction site that will soon be the Baptist Home.
The Baptist Home held a Dedication Service at New Salem Baptist Church on Friday, April 20. After the service, Administrator Steve Long led two ribbon cuttings – the first in front of the church with all of those who attended the service and the second just north of the church, in front of the large construction site that will soon be the Baptist Home. The Baptist Home is developing infrastructure as it begins to build a retirement community. According to Long, Phase 1 of the Independent Active Living facilities will begin construction late this spring. The Assisted Living facilities and a community center will be built in a few years. Future plans call for an expanded Independent Living, Assisted Living and Nursing Care facilities.
