In June, thousands of Missourians competed in Show-Me State Games events ranging from 3v3 Soccer to the Missouri State Senior Games. Pitcher Nick Curtis admitted wasn’t attempt to throw strikes as much as he was attempting to hit that bat with the ball. Early in June Southern Boone sent five teams to the Bull Shoals Tournament. Nathan Vandelicht and Austin Chaney took 12th out of 245 teams. The Eagles had one other team, Carter Miller and Brandon Sones, who finished in the top 50.
