Four Eagles named to All Region team

Four Eagles soccer players were named to the Class 2, Region 3 soccer team, including Brett Brookshire, Rece Gilmore, Nick Grabner and Trenton Roney. Gilmore was named the Offensive Player of the Year in the region after scoring 34 goals with 16 assists and Grabner was named Goalkeeper of the Year after recording 12 shutouts

Eagles girls fall to Fatima

The Southern Boone County girls’ basketball team had a tough matchup against Fatima on Thursday night. Deer Harvest more than 6,500

Preliminary data from the Missouri Department of Conservation (MDC) shows that deer hunters in Missouri harvested 6,585 deer during the antlerless portion of the fall firearms deer season, Nov. 30 – Dec. 2. Top harvest counties were Callaway with 261, Osage with 201, and Pike with 193 deer checked. Last year’s harvest total was 7,773.
